Take me back to Spring 2021 with Jessie & Tom and their amazingly peach & emerald inspired wedding. I was so excited to have some old friends book Elite Events & I for their wedding needs, nothing makes me more excited to catch up with old friends than through wedding planning!
The wonderful thing about Jessie & Tom was their easiness & trust they put into Erica & I. When our clients trust our vision it truly changes the event culture and gives us space to really do what we do best- Design! While Erica helped Jessie & Tom with wedding day details, I was busy designing their invitation suite, and let me tell you- this one was filled with gorgeous details & lots of texture- let's review their wedding day in hopes of inspiring another gorgeous suite like this one!
The Invitation:
When Jessie approached me, she literally said "you have free design control" and these are the most magical words to hear any client say- because it means they trust you & your vision- and sometimes means they aren't design oriented & need lots of guidance, which is what I'm here for, to help clients capture their wedding design through paper.
When Jessie showed me things that she was inspired by, Acrylic invites were one of the top things she loved. I was soooo excited to produce an acrylic invite with Jessie because it's a rare occurrence, due to how expensive they are per invite, however Jessie & Tom had a small wedding guest list, which gave them lots of freedom to design something spectacular, since they were only ordering 35 total. So that's what we did, we designed Acrylic invites with watercolor emerald detail cards, chiffon ribbon wraps adorned by custom white & gold foiled "B" wax seals & hand calligraphed emerald watercolor envelopes- SWOON.
The wedding day:
Jessie & Tom were married at Nazareth Hall, Ohio in the Cadet West Ballroom. I love this ballroom due to all of the natural light, and Nazareth Hall has such a historical presence it just made so much sense for Jessie & Tom on their wedding day. We designed a gorgeous seating chart with cards attached to a vintage mirror & wax seals that matched their envelopes. It was such wonderful spring day- here are some of our favorite shots.
Such a lovely spring wedding right? That color palette in the ballroom just made everything feel bright & cheerful, just like Jessie & Tom! Happy Wedding day to you two.
Want more of our amazing wedding recaps? We will be back soon featuring our favorites from Marie & Daniel's wedding day.
Until then, XOXO
